Nov 10, 2024 @ 7pm - Austin, TX

One chicken’s story of partisanship and resistance. Hand made puppets meet masterful retelling of a shared story of many survivors and fighters. This puppet show crosses the bounds of storytelling of the past and current day, a poignant story that translates seamlessly to the realities of today. Learn, think, and share ideas inspired by this brave and wise little chicken’s narration of true, breathtaking stories of love, fighting, culture, music and existence as a means of resistance. Afterall existence IS resistance.

There are many types of Jewish music and we love it all! However, we focus specifically on Klezmer and Yiddish Folk music.

In addition to preserving the existing repertoire, the foundation's commitment to creating new traditions is noteworthy. This demonstrates an understanding of the dynamic nature of culture and the importance of adapting to contemporary contexts while maintaining a connection to the past.
